In this Let's Play video, I will be playing the Roots of Pacha Full Release (Console and PC Version 1.2) This game is a Stardew Valley like game with a Stone Age theme. It shares a lot of game mechanics found in other games such as Echoes of the Plum Grove, My Time At Sandrock, Fae Farm, My Time At Portia, Coral Island, Sun Haven, Moonstone Island, Space Prison, and Fields of Mistria. It is a farming life simulation set in the Stone Age where you interact with various villagers of your clan. You will later meet other clans in the game and will have to make some interesting decisions as the story unfolds. There are base building elements here. It has mini games for fishing and taming animals. It has a really nice Pixel Graphics art style. Farming, Fishing, Taming, Crafting, Gathering. Lots of Quests and Interaction with fellow NPC villagers. There is a village contribution mechanic that acts like a currency. The more you contribute the more you'll be able to acquire new technology upgrades, buildings, items, and resources with other villagers. (Your contribution currency is actually spent and removed from your balance). As the days progress, various advancements and storylines will unfold based on the village progress (through contributions made by you and the other villagers). This game does have co-op allowing you to play with your friends. There is no combat in the game. I really enjoyed playing this game. It's very relaxing and cozy.

Create new tools to advance civilization, like blade shears, flutes, and milkers. Domesticate wild animals, fish for food, and research a variety of vegetation to develop the knowledge needed to best utilize each plant’s properties. Explore the depths of the caves and expansive land to find new resources. Use what's discovered to help steer civilization towards monumental "Ideas" like irrigation, animal breeding, and cold storage to enable life-changing processes for all Pachans and neighboring communities. Up to four Pachans can play together and traverse wild forests, puzzling caves, hot savannas, beaches, and more — all offering humanity unique resources to gather and mold into advanced tools to build a thriving civilization. Experience a guided RPG-esque story with world cutscenes that include surrounding players and single-player cutscenes that affect the world for everyone.
