In this Let's Play video, I will be playing the Drill Core (Release Early Access). It's a Roguelite base building defense strategy survival game about mining resources to reach the Core of the planet with Tower Defense elements. You are part of the Drill Core company that takes on contracts in drilling to the core of various planets so that you can set an explosive charge to readjust their magnetic effects. Monsters will attack you in waves at night, and each passing day gets harder. In between attacks, you spend your day time trying to find resources to improve your base. Gather Iron and Swarmlit, used to construct various buildings, turrets, train new workers, and upgrades. Get Coal to be able to drill deeper towards the planet. Defend your Mining Base at night from the monster invasions with Turrets and other defense buildings. You get new building unlocks by finding these green blueprints from mining. This game plays similar to "Dome Keeper" in many ways with some "Ark of Charon" and "Crab God" vibes to it. There are a lot of resource and time management aspects to this game. I really enjoyed playing this game a lot. I highly recommend checking out the Demo (progress does saved and transferred to the full game).
