In this Let's Play video, I will be playing Mind Over Magic on the Closed Beta Testing Branch using my "Last Airbender" school save. (Continues from my Walkthrough series for the Last Airbender school, Episode 5). The purpose of this video is to show you gameplay on what is currently being worked on and tested in Closed Beta. Some things may or may not be in the final live version.
The latest version of the Beta invalidated my previous school save. (It's a BETA test, so it's to be expected since my previous beta tests I was not able to keep my saves when it went live.) It was recommended that I load a previous school save (a copy) to test out the Jade Dragon Beta. The event mechanics changed from the previous testing. Though it might need more rebalancing though. There are a lot of new UI and QoL changes in this version. As a Reminder, this is the CLOSED BETA test version, and is not made live yet. Anybody can test this version out at the moment by joining the Mind Over Magic Discord and choosing to opt-in as a Beta Tester. You will be given instructions on how to participate and access to the Beta discussion and feedback channels. (This VOD was streamed live on my Twitch Channel).

Gather resources and build a Wizard School, summon students, and train them to become an apprentice, graduate or hire them as staff members. Explore the Underworld and engage in Turned Base combat (similar to Final Fantasy style). Fight back the Fog. It's Harry Potter meets Oxygen Not included and Rim World! I really enjoy playing this game. It's very addictive and fun. It's definitely worth buying and playing. I highly recommend this game.

There are many gameplay comparisons here similar to that of Oxygen Not Included and RimWorld. You are tasked with developing a Magic School to train new wizards to defeat and push back the Fog that will destroy your school and the world. Gather Resources that spawn around your base to build up the school. The wizards you train are summoned via crafting special Wands.
