Continuing on from the previous part, I start a new day by doing the usual morning routine of talking to everyone on the island.
While doing just that, we also get to see Electra's first friendship event scene.
And what does this scene reveal about her character? That she does a lot of work on the island because 1. She enjoys working. And 2. Her family is actually pretty poor. (Surprising, seeing as they live in a mansion!)
After that scene, I talk to Sierra.
And why is that at all noteworthy? Well because she tells us to meet up with her and a couple of other people later on to investigate a ghost sighting on the island.
After that, I continue talking to people on the island as well as finally learn how to make our own weapons from Elena. (I also upgrade one of the cheap poles to the beginner's pole.)
With that done, I head back to spring island to check on my crops, fight some monsters on the ancient statue, and then return to Fenith island to pass time by talking to people.
Once it starts to get dark, I head to the harbor to meet up with Sierra and her ghost investigating crew.
Along with Sierra, the following people ended up joining in on the ghost investigation:
Odette, Electra, Maerwen, and Joe.
Out of all the people that showed up, Odette and Electra seem to be the only ones that are scared of ghosts. (Sonja is also scared too, so I guess she also counts there!)
So what is Sierra's plan here? Well she has everyone walk through the seaside cavern one by one to see if anything happens to anyone.
With the exception of Odette and Electra getting scared on their way through the cavern, nothing really happens to anyone as they walk through the cavern.
That is until it's our turn to walk through it, of course!
While inside the cavern, nothing seems to happen at first.
But then suddenly! A voice is heard and the ghostly figure of a woman appears!
The sight is enough to knock Sonja out cold!
So what does this ghost? have to say? Well, not much, as Aden runs away before she can say anything else. (The ghost? also makes a note of Sonja passing out.)
Running back to where everyone else is on the beach, Aden tells them that he thinks he saw something in the cavern.
But then when Sierra comes out from the cavern and says she didn't see anything, the sighting of the ghost? is more or less ignored as everyone leaves.
As they leave, Sonja wakes up and confirms to Aden that she also saw the ghost?.
With no clue as to who the ghost? might be, (Even though it is very obvious!) I spend the rest of the evening talking to people before going to bed. (I also make some more strawberry jam.)
And that is when the ghost? makes a reappearance!
The ghost, but not really a ghost, reveals herself to be a sorceress named Pandora.
Pandora tells us that she became a stone statue while conducting an experiment in turning things into stone.
After telling her story, Aden simply sees her story as unbelievable and decides to throw the statue out.
Enraged, Pandora yells at him and reveals that she has been trapped in stone at the bottom of the ocean for 400 years.
With Pandora wanting to be restored to her full body, she asks us to help restore her.
We then get a choice that probably only leads to us agreeing to do that regardless of what choice we pick. (I imagine Sonja would force Aden to agree with her if he didn't.)
So agreeing to help her out, she thanks us and tells us that all we need to do is talk to her everyday and give her presents in order to restore her back to her body.
After that scene, we move onto the next morning where I talk to Pandora for the first time outside of a cutscene.
She pretty much just says the same thing she told us the previous night about how to restore her.
Along with talking to her, I also save the game and once again look over the relationships of all the islanders.
So with a new character introduced, what will happen next? Find out in the next part!
