0Thank you all for being patient while I spent the weekend with my family. During Serious Sam 3, we witnessed humanity's final days in the war against Mental that has lasted for three years. For this game, we turn the clocks back to the year before when there were more humans fighting. We open with scraps of what used to be satellites and space stations that once orbited Earth. We meet the allies who will fight alongside us. We learn about their hopes, their dreams, their hobbies, what they originally wanted to do with their lives, and what they'd rather be than soldiers. When Tah-Um aka Mental launched his campaign to exterminate humanity, all that went out the fucking airlock. We see Sam leading the battle against Mental's forces in Tunguska where a huge portal has been established to allow the enemy to come to Earth in greater numbers. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers charge towards the portal while Sam gets rid of the bigger enemies in the way. A hulking monstrosity observes from a distance before coming down and unleashing a destructive wave of flames that incapacitate Sam. Sam briefly recognizes the apocalyptic abomination before getting his lights punched out.
