Let's Play SIGNALIS - Part 4 (Commentary - PC Gameplay)
1I went into Signalis blind and it hit me like a freight truck and I kept coming back for more.
A sci-fi survival horror game, it explores topics that has a tendency to make me fill up with dread, despair and horror, while also tickling my creativity about the absurdity of THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK.
It can best be described as having a lo-fi presentation, which absolutely works in it's favour, and can best be described as a PSX game made to cause the player more trauma than needed. It plays wonderfully and can best be described as Resident Evil in sci-fi hell.
I am giving this a big recommendation and if you have even the smallest interest in the philosophical thoughts about humanity in space, androids, clones, or just like horror, this is a game that cannot be ignored.
Much like SOMA, it made a mess out of me and points a picture that while the future can certainly get better, it can certainly also become insanely bleak, for each of us.
