Skyrim: Special Edition is the 2016 HD re-release of the Skyrim Game of the Year Edition, with new shaders, textures, visual effects. There's next to nothing necessarily "anew" about it, but it looks great, and the 64-bit architecture should help the game's moddibility substantially. Of course, only a handful of good mods are out right now, so that's a bit of a negative.

Anyway, what is The Legend of Loafy? The answer is simple: I have never played Skyrim before, and really don't want to try any challenges in the game without playing it fully first. People seem to hate it when I'm a newbie at these things, and honestly I just want an easy, no-stress series while I wait for the fun mods to start coming out again. Once Skyrim: SE has crazy mods, then I'll start going nuts, but for now we'll be pretty much vanilla.

I don't have an easy way of getting a modlist right now, so just pay attention, I'll show off my load order constantly throughout this series.
