Let's Play Sonic 3 & Knuckles Part 4 {Sonic}
3Final part of Launch Base Zone Act 2. Here we're taking on the final bosses of the base version of Sonic the Hedgehog 3. For the first boss,Dr.Robotnik will try to launch cannonballs at you while a platform appears. Dodge them and use the platform to get some hits on him,or try using the shield abilities or Super Sonic to reach his ledge. Once defeated,he'll run off and try to launch the Death Egg! For the next boss fight,Dr.Eggman will go up and down the screen firing lasers at you. The more hits you land,the less lasers he'll have to fire. Just be wary of the white light circling the cockpit,it'll hurt you if you touch it. The final boss will be the Big Arm Robot. If it grabs you,it'll slam you into the ground. It can even knock your rings away in Super Sonic form if you're grabbed! Time your hits very carefully,making sure to hit the body and not jump over it into the spikes,or low enough that he grabs you. It's a long fight,but the pattern is simple enough. Once he's beaten,the Death Egg will crash back onto the island again. This is where Sonic 3 would end,but we'll be continuing with the Sonic & Knuckles part next time.
