Let's Play - Sparkster (Megadrive) - Very Hard Mode - 01 - This was a terrible idea.
46The few of you that actually subscribed and watched Ksorian's Sparkster playthrough, will noted how frustrated he got with the game.. and since it's been ages since i've played the game myself, I decided to play it again.
On the highest difficulty.
Yes i'm crazy.
Now, much of the difficulty i'm going to suffer is purely down to the fact that:
a) This is the highest difficulty level, and yes, it makes a huge difference. It's a Konami game. Konami are freaking sadistic.
b) This the first time i've attempted playing this difficulty level. This means the various changes to boss AI, increased damage, enemy spawns, and some stupid areas in Stage 5... will really throw me off.
and
c) The controller i'm playing with refuses to go forward. This isn't an issue when walking, as even a diagional will work... but.. using the rocket pack? Urgh. I confirmed the controllers crap when I intially tried to record Contra 3, so... waste of money then.
