Agent 8 applying eye liner in a mirror until he has those big black circles.

Description joke list of references: Octoling/Inkling have black circles around eyes (although likely not makeup), I-line sounds like "eye liner", magic 8-ball, the magic mirror from snow white ("mirror mirror on the wall"), the last line is a reference to 2 possible magic 8-ball responses, and the last line is a reference to the hazy memory. There was a lot going on in that simple joke.
The title joke is a stretch: "metal eye" is a pun for the metal orb in I03 and "fake orb" is because I skipped J03. Together they're ironic because the "metal eye" is real unlike a glass eye.

1:40 it's always had the squiggly lines but I'd never noticed before because most places are darker and my screen was dark and my vision could be better. 2:51 "enemies are coming" is the only thing they said which is useless. 3:29 the missile's exact movement seems a little random which makes aiming harder. I think it's got momentum from how the cannon was moved. 7:26 it's just a joke (not about me) but also Octolings do have black circles around eyes. 7:39 well it was possible for I02 to be super hard but the price didn't indicate that but then again neither do the orbs. 11:17 the ink refill would help my skin? I thought he was talking about being dry from not swimming enough but now it sounds like he's talking about ink sweat. 14:18 should've broken the 2 painted before using the refill. 14:59 she was an advanced one but didn't seem like she had much health. Maybe this gun has high damage. 15:19 I think I know what the expression means but there was nothing to fight. 21:53 it activated but was destroyed when the bar was at bottom. Looks like a single hit but hard to tell. 23:01 it's where the Inkjet took off from (since they jump back there after). 23:08 by "see what it does" I mean "I'm skipping in order to see the next level and to see exactly what happens when skipping." 25:13 In octo episode 10 (F07/C12) 29:05 reason I didn't cut the episode down to 30 is that this level is super long and boring. It's better to skip over this 18 minute chapter than to have a short episode that's unwatchable. 39:00 "now I actually need advice from the NPCs. Everything else they said was useless." 39:35 I hadn't noticed the jump pad. I'm guessing it jumps to the checkpoint. 39:44 actual problems with this section: NPCs are useless, arrow should point to the platform I need, and give me more graplinks would allow multiple ways up. 42:49 because it's the octopus nose.
