Let's Play Starward Rogue: AuGMENTED - #35: Rough Starts
2In this part of Starward Rogue, I start playing through the first expansion of this game - AuGMENTED. Full disclosure, I got a free copy from Arcen Games to LP this game and its expansion.
The new stuff in this expansion includes:
* A new gold floor with unique challenges and rewards
* 4 new music tracks
* 3 new mechs: The Zephyr, The Paladin, and the Warhog
* 90+ new items
* 30+ new enemies
* 125+ new rooms
* 8 new room obstacles
* 10+ challenge rooms
* 6 new minibosses
* 9 new bosses
In short, there's a whole slew of new content added to this game. There are several new potential builds that can potentially carry you to the endgame. And this isn't even taking into account what the modders can add...
However, be warned, some of the new content (especially the Gold Floor) is MUCH more difficult than the regular floors. I don't recommend playing this expansion until you successfully complete one or more runs in the base game. Even then, I suggest playing with a medium to long range mech first in order to learn the enemy behaviors.
