Let's Play Starward Rogue: AuGMENTED - #38: Paladin on Extended Normal (3)
0In this part of Starward Rogue: AuGMENTED, I continue using the Paladin mech through floor 6. This is one of the three new mechs added with this expansion. Full disclosure, I got a free copy from Arcen Games to LP this game and its expansion.
Floor 6 went by mostly fine. Though, a lot slower than I anticipated due to my lack of damage upgrades. I was hoping my Power Shield's shield bash abilities would be as powerful as they were in the early game. But, I suppose they were made less effectiveness in the late game to make the enemies more challenging. At the very least, the shield still blocks projectiles fine and dandy.
The mini-boss before the boss battle was another almost run-killer. The Arcoris x4 encounter was definitely not suited for my mech's loadout and power-ups. I'd say that this was harder than any other boss fight during the run - even harder than Terminus itself. Mirror Mark 2 was no slouch either, but it was still more predictable with its attack patterns.
