Rintaro realizes that the only way to save Suzuha is to cancel the D-Mail he sent telling himself to keep her in Akihabara, knowing full well that the last four days will be erased as a result, including finding out that Daru is her future dad. Nonetheless, the time machine will avoid being affected by the storm in the process. Also, Rintaro makes an unexpected discovery: cancelling the D-Mail appears to have averted Mayuri's death, at least for the time being.
