Let's Play Super Mario All-Stars - Introduction
Hello everybody, SlimKirby here, and welcome to my new Let's Play
So here it is folks....Super Mario All-Stars! As you guys know, I am a big Mario fanatic, and it was only a matter of time before I ventured back into the golden days of what is quite possibly my favorite video game series. However, the timing never really felt right to do them as individual projects. So why not combine all 4 of the NES games into one super, mega, amazing project? That sounds good to me! =P
So yeah, as explained in the video, I will be doing all four games in this collection. This is not the collection that has Super Mario World, and even if it was, I've already done Super Mario World twice now, and there is no reason to do that. =P Anyway...yes, I will be doing all four of them, but I'm not going to be doing them all at once or one at a time. I will be doing two at a time, starting with Super Mario Bros. 1 and 2, and then when I finish one of the games, I will substitute it for one of the two that is left. Then when I finish the second one, I will be replacing it with the final game. I thought it would be interesting to have a little variety every week during the duration of this project.
Also, something to mention, is that I will have an individual playlist for each game, and then one master playlist that will feature all of the games. I know it seems kind of redundant to essentially have two playlists, but eh, I'm a crazy person.
So as I said, Super Mario Bros. will be every Monday and Tuesday, and Super Mario Bros. 2 will be every Thursday and Friday. When I finish SMB1, I will replace it with Lost Levels, and when I finish SMB2, I will replace it with SMB3. Wednesday will be my break day because I have a lot of crap going on this year in school, and the weekend, although there won't be anything this first weekend, I am starting Wii Party soon, so that will be taking the place of weekend updates for awhile.
I hope you guys enjoy this project! I know the classic 2D Mario games are quite overdone in the world of Youtube, but I really wanted to put my own spin on the games, and I figured this would be something that anyone can enjoy! After all, who doesn't love Mario?
So yeah, that's all I have to say! I hope you guys enjoy the project! I've already done four videos in advance, and all 4 of them have been great, at least by my standards. :P
Stay tuned for the first Super Mario Bros. 1 video which will be up momentarily! =)
