Today we are playing Tell Me Why, a game from Dontnod Entertainment (famous for Life Is Strange), on PC, using Xbox Game Pass. This is a video of the 1st chapter, Homecoming. This game preview is showing the reunion of the twins Tyler and Alyson after 10 years. Tyler went through a sex change, and Alyson meet him for the first time as a man.
As the chapter name implies, they both go back to their hometown, Delos Crossing in Alaska, where they are ready to sell their Mom's house. The prologue of the game implies that Tyler (at the time Ollie) had a fight with their Mom 10 years ago that caused their Mom's death.
Concerning the gameplay of Tell Me Why, it is a pretty straightforward adventure game, with dialogue interactions that may change your affinity with people around you. It seems that there are some puzzles in game that I didn't yet played in this preview, and there is a special bond between the two characters that allow you to see their memories (it is an important gameplay element as it unlocks paths to play).
I decided to record most of my gameplay of the game with no commentary and will share them little by little.
Note: I was a bit reluctant to share my commentary as I was worried about how I talked of the mature theme of this game. I hope I didn't come in any wrong ways, but if I do I deeply apologize.
