Let's Play The Complete Classic Doom Collection - Part 163 - Baphomet's Demesne
Twenty years after the failure of Daikatana, John Romero decided to go back to his roots and create an all new Doom experience, one that would push the limit of how difficult a Doom campaign could be and what complex level design it could get away with. The result is Sigil, an unofficial Episode 5 to the original Doom. During Doomguy's attempt to get back to Earth at the end of Thy Flesh Consumed, a Baphomet demon glitched the teleporter so it would send him to the darker shores of Hell. A common thing throughout these levels is you'll see an Eye in a crevice on a wall. Shooting it may either open up a path forward or reveal a secret area. Another thing about this campaign is that Buckethead was hired to do the soundtrack. It's not featured in the Doom collection release unfortunately, which is why I had to do the editing myself. I hope I did okay. If the audience wants Buckethead, I'll give 'em Buckethead.
