Level 1,Dark Palace. 1st dungeon of the Dark World. Has a somewhat similar layout to it's Light World counterpart,but this place is a lot more difficult. You'll need to use bombs several times to blow open holes in the wall,or even the floor. To get this dungeon's treasure,you'll need to dash through a collapsing bridge,then navigate a dark room and bomb open a wall to get to it. You'll get the Magic Hammer from the chest! This allows Link to strike down wooden stakes that block his path. It's also the only thing that will flip the shielded/shelled enemies. The boss of the dungeon is called the Helmasaur King. Destroy his mask with the Magic Hammer. You'll slowly chip away at it,until it's gone for good. Then you can strike at the weak spot on his head with your Sword. He can hit you with his tail,ram into you,and spit fireballs,so he's tough. You'll rescue the 1st Maiden for winning!
