Let’s play The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages 10 — Making friends while others make mischief
1Maverick is back on the mainland and has a new clue about the location of another Essence of Time: the mountains northwest of Lynna City. However, getting there will require an animal companion to navigate the terrain, which changes based on whether the player chooses Dimitri the dodongo, Ricky the kangaroo, or Moosh the flying bear. If the player does nothing, Moosh is selected, and while Maverick will be choosing Dimitri, I will show off the change to the terrain if Moosh is selected. As the animal companion in a linked game transfers over, when Maverick’s brother Data heads to Labrynna after completing his mission in Holodrum, when that happens you will get a chance to see what the terrain with Ricky looks like.
PS: In Data’s playthrough of Oracle of Seasons, a similar gimmick is present. In that playthrough, in which Ricky is the default companion, I have showed off what the terrain looks like with both Ricky and Moosh. When Maverick heads over to Holodrum, you can see what Dimitri’s terrain looks like then.
