Let's Play the Stanley Parable Demonstration 02: The Demo
131Now that we've seen all that goes into making the demo for this game it's time to actually see the demon in question. We've been built up to expect an absolutely fantastic masterpiece of unparalleled brilliance which will most certainly be the most amazing video game we're every going to see ever in the history of everything.
I'm confident that this demo will not disappoint me in any way, shape or form and will show me with absolute clarity what I will experience and get when I get the full game. I mean, how could it possibly not?
That The Stanley Parable Demonstration is an entirely different experience compared to the main game is I think quite awesome. It not only shows brilliantly what you're getting into with the full game but it does so with content you won't see at all in the game proper, meaning that nothing plot-wise is spoiled. The narrator is fantastic in it and despite the demonstration being a lot more linear then the actual game it does a grand job of showing you what's to come. If I'd of played the demo when it came out I'd of most certainly played the Stanely Parable itself a lot sooner. Things being as they are however that did not occur but I found the demonstration exceptionally enjoyable all the same.
So, what's next for Stanley and his Parable? There are still a few small things I didn't do in the main game that I've been told about. At some point I'll return to the game and record those. Until then however it's time to give the narrator a much needed rest. He's got to fix the demo after all so none of that happens to anyone else who decides to try it! Let's hope the narrator succeeds.
