Once we secure the west coast of the USA there'll only be a few tiny pockets of cultist presence left on the map that in my opinion will be easy to keep under control. We can start focusing on expanding into other areas at that point or alternatively just letting time pass so the construction of the spaceship proceeds quicker.

That said it can never hurt to get more experience for our soldiers, every stat increase counts after all.
