Let's Play Viktor: A Steampunk Adventure | Beta Gameplay | Part 2
This footage is from a beta version of the game, and represents work in progress.
Here we go further than the original demo I played ever got. We meet our friend Martin, and deal with our flirtatious landlady (A literal Old Crow). Martin agrees to guide us on our journey with his psychic powers.
Martin becomes the helpline of the game that you call when you are stuck, though I believe that some puzzles do require you to call him.
Finally, after seducing our landlady we set out for the dirigible dome, to find passage in the sky to the heart of the empire.
Viktor: A Steampunk Adventure is a new 2d point and click adventure game soon to be release by Studio Spekter. The team at Studio Spekter has been working on no budget on their own time to get this game out, and gave me access to a beta build of the game.
Anomulus0 takes you through the first 3 areas of the game, to give you a taste of what Viktor has in store.

“ Viktor is a classical 2D point and click adventure game set in a cartoonish late 19th century about a wild pig who tries to cope with the loss of his job by going on a quest to become a new Emperor of Austria-Hungary
Pretty two-dimensional art, hand drawn by Sven Nemet: Feast your eyes on a well polished, yet provokingly chaotic style created by Sven Nemet, Croatia’s renowned author of picture books and board games.
A point and click interface with your favorite commands: Try to kick, grab, look at or talk to anything you encounter.
Inventory: Anything worth taking can be taken with you and used later with questionable, yet fun results.
A “choose your own response” dialog: In a conversation, you can often choose what Viktor will say. Encourage, provoke or confuse characters in the world around you.
Freedom to explore and experiment without fear of dying or getting stuck: Saving and loading is needed only for taking a break from the game. If you feel like you made a wrong choice or forgot to do something, fear not, there is always a way to solve any problem.
The silliest psychological drama you will ever play: Viktor has issues and unrealistic expectations. Luckily, he lives in a cartoon world where he can accomplish anything or, at least, learn from his mistakes.
Occasional fun mini-game: Just to test your reflexes, Viktor will sometimes get involved in a fun action sequence.
Your favorite classical soundtrack: Any music you hear in the game can be collected as a gramophone record, so Viktor can listen to it anywhere”
