Ein Jahr ist vergangen nachdem der Lich König gestürzt wurde und wieder herrscht Krieg zwischen Allianz und Horde.
Gilneas wird von der Horde belagert und Garrosh Hellscream leitet die Horde während Varian immer noch die Allianz anleitet.
Sylvanas hingegen interessiert sich nicht für diesen Konflikt und kehrt zum Eiskronegletscher zurück.
Die Val'kyr gaben ihr Visionen der Vergangenheit und Zukunft aber sie hörte nicht zu und wollte endlich wieder Frieden mit ihrer Seele schließen.
Deshalb stieß sie sich von der Klippe...
Die Val'kyr gaben ihr auch ihre verdiente Ruhe...holten sie aber wieder zurück um einen Pakt zu schließen.
Solange sie leben lebt auch Sylvanas. Sie stimmt den Pakt zu und kehrt nach Lordaeron zurück.
Garrosh wollte die Verlassenen als Kanonenfutter verwenden, aber Sylvanas ging dazwischen. Sie drohte Garrosh und verlangte das man es nach ihrer Art macht und nein nichts könnte ihr jetzt noch Angst machen.
Garrosh akzeptierte es und Sylvanas war nun wieder die Königin der Verlassenen und würde sie beschützen.
Sie waren nicht länger Pfeile im Köcher.
Sie waren ihr Volk und das Bollwerk gegen das Unendliche...

A year has passed since the Lich King was overthrown, and once again the Horde and Alliance are at war.
Gilneas is under siege by the Horde and Garrosh Hellscream leads the Horde while Varian still leads the Alliance.
Sylvanas, on the other hand, is uninterested in this conflict and returns to Icecrown.
The val'kyr gave her visions of the past and future, but she didn't listen and wanted to finally make peace with her soul again.
So she pushed herself off the cliff...
The Val'kyr also gave her her deserved rest...but took her back to make a pact.
As long as they lived, so would she. Sylvanas agrees to the pact and returns to Lordaeron.
Meanwhile, Garrosh wanted to use the Forsaken as cannon fodder, but Sylvanas intervened. She threatened Garrosh and demanded that it be done her way and no, nothing could frighten her now.
Garrosh accepted, and Sylvanas was once again Queen of the Forsaken and would protect them.
They were no longer arrows in the quiver.
They were her people and the bulwark against the infinite...
