I wanted to rewatch the intro to pick up on things I might have overlooked before, which wound up being good timing because we got some MAJOR PLOT REVELATIONS! I mean, I'd figured them out already, but I think the game expected me to have done so already; I like that it presented the reveal very shortly after we had what we needed to piece it together, so it didn't treat this like it was going to be a shocking surprise or anything. The timing on it felt really good.
Kind of grumpy that Tetra is now going to be out of the game as a helpless princess when she'd had a lot of agency (and I had actually started liking her!), but I suppose I shouldn't expect any different from a Zelda game. I'm looking forward to continuing to explore the story and the world, either way! I suspect we'll have a lot of random exploration and wandering for the next session or two because WHY NOT.
I did a good job against that bird, didn't I? I feel like Dark Souls taught me how to chill instead of run around screaming all the time. Also, I may not be able to remember my leaf EVER, but I can remember my other tools, and that's a huge step in problem solving! Am I actually turning into a decent gamer? :o
