I've uploaded another video providing some of this backstory, but I wanted it to be here, too, at the beginning of this playthrough. I feel like you all deserve some context so you're not just like "yeah, Metal Gear Solid!" and then wonder why I'm crying during an informational video at the beginning of the game.

I suspect there will be two experiences during this playthrough: the emotionally difficult parts that I still remember from that first time, and then the ordinary Let's Play experience during sections I don't remember. As long as you are willing to bear with me, I think this will be good for me, and I hope that maybe other people will get something out of it too.

I have put streaming this off for years because I've been scared of it. Yes, other games keep coming up, but subconsciously I've been avoiding this one because I'm scared of it.
