Hot off the heels of our dramatic bomb deconstruction mission in Mumbai, we round out the victorious month and go on yet another operation; although a battle may be won, the campaign is far from over, with Marathon checked, we're in it for the long haul.

As always, explosives, despite Dr. Vahlen's numerous warnings and reminders and all that, remain an absolute crutch for any mission, timed or otherwise. Guaranteed damage, an exact amount, where you want it and without any delay is delicious, especially since even on Classic, a standard Sectoid will be instantly killed by it.

The basic tactics that I've been employing to give my troops the best chance of survival are quite game-y; instead of just taking the best available cover and charging for contact right away, XCOM is purposefully managing engagements and cover to give ourselves the most isolated fights possible. We know with certainty that every tile we can get before actual contact is made is an advantage to Team Earth anyhow.
