Let's Play Ys 8 Episode 74: Beach Episode
0HA y'all thought we were gonna make story progress. That's funny.
In all seriousness Valley of Kings is a notable jump in difficulty so I want to get a bit stronger and explore a little more.
Also this was pretty much the only time I would realistically wear the bathing suit outfits.
As for important things we have that underground water cavern we found early on that holds another pikkard for Reja (which I'm realizing as I type this that I never did give him the new Pikkard... whoops.) and the bond item for Licht.
Also an area where you'll get a lot of really good upgrade items for Kathleen to use.
But with Dana returned we can now go explore a blocked off area to find a new mantis enemy and more importantly another castaway... kinda surprising butler mans survived this long.
Otherwise we found another survivor meaning we can access another ruin blocked off by rubble leading to an optional dungeon I barely remember.
I'm debating between next episode being more side content or going to the valley of kings and beating the first half to show off the first boss there as well as get the oh so important dungeon item.
Guess we shall find out later.
