Let's Replay Baldur's Gate 2 Enhanced Edition #04 - Rielev's Remains
2Our adventure in Baldur's Gate 2 continues as we begin to discover the place where we have been held prisoner. We encounter a genie-like creature who asks me random questions, and who tells us to seek out Rielev, and to provide him with help upon encountering him.
After uncovering a room of vats with tortured remains within them, along with a golem who requests an activation stone, we eventually stumble upon the pickled remains of a creature calling himself Rielev. Once a man, perhaps, he was a friend or servant of someone he calls The Master, who apparently has cruelly tortured the beings we have found in the glass specimen containers.
In exchange for offering him release from this existence, he gives us the batteries from his cell, which allows us to talk with some of the other creatures we found...and they offer us hints as to the laboratory within which we find ourselves.
We also find the activation stone the golem requested.
The adventures of Renfail the elven mage continue in the Forgotten Realms as we explore Baldur's Gate II - The Shadows of Amn. We're replaying the game via the enhanced edition, so follow along as we seek our destiny.
