In an ideal world, capturing the mastermind would ensure that the rest of the case goes absolutely smoothly, arresting and turning everyone and dismantling the crime with relative ease. Unfortunately, this is rarely the case due to a wide variety of reasons, the first of which being that you won't won't know exactly where the people you want to arrest are. Sure, you know what city and organisation but you still have to find the specific building. Then there's the risk of people going into hiding, the potential for there being few or no floor safes in a building and actually stopping the crime.

One of the things I'm trying to get better at is figuring out the point at which certain people will go into hiding. If you can swoop in and arrest them after they've done all they need to, their apprehension will cause no-one to go into custody. This is a skill I need to learn if I'm going to catch the more difficult people – organisers and inside contacts – more reliably. While I'm sure I'll get it wrong a couple of times, practice can only make me better at it, right?

Also, I need to double check my spelling when inputting names into terminals. You'll see why in due time.
