Let’s Replay Covert Action – The Ariane Files [Case 20B]
87This video was recorded while suffering from a very bad cold which, among other things, heavily hit my voice. I was not in any pain while recording this and am already on the mend at the time of this upload.
We've managed to gain a few leads on the case but we're still playing catch up; by design, the plot has already made some progression by the time you begin play on the second of the month, leaving messages and the like for you to uncover. If you're really unlucky, one of the participants will be close to going into hiding the moment you begin work and that's the person you want to go for first if you can.
The more I play this game, the better I'm getting at figuring out the passwords. This makes sense as there's only so many words in the password lexicon and they're all taken from the various messages that you come across. There's fewer choices for the smaller words which makes them appear more than most but even the larger ones can be guessed with but a few letters provided you take the time to work things out. Fortunately, time doesn't progress while you're on the 'guess the password' screen, allowing you all the time in the world to deduce the solution.
