It's odd to see a game that so enthusiastically wants to copy the success of another developer. Give DICE some credit, at least they don't literally copy the plot of CoD 4 point for point and that's the biggest defense I'll ever give to that coattail chasing company.

F.E.A.R. is decent, has potential and at least some originality to justify itself as a series. Let's just leave it at that.
