Part of my plan to stream some "old school" style RPGs; Escape from the Pit is a re-make of Exile: Escape From the Pit, which was released in 1995. This version was released in 2011 by Spiderweb Software.

I am playing this game un-modded and with a custom soundtrack playing separately in the background, made up of tracks from the Thief and Fallout games, among others.

In this episode we go boating! Exploring the nooks and crannies of the map which are only accessible by the water. We find many interesting things, and then return to face the assassin in the bat cave!
I cut this session short because I was feeling I was hitting a dead end. I didn't gain enough through the exploration to make any meaningful difference to the spider fight last time, and needed to take a break so I could approach this situation afresh.
