26When mentioning puzzles, most people will immediately think about jigsaw puzzles. Thats what I thought a year ago too. But since starting this channel last year, I gradually explore the vast world of mechanical puzzles; the deeper I go down the rabbit hole, the more I learn about them and discovered many wonderfully hidden gems within the puzzle world.
In this video, I want to share what I have found, and hopefully you will find one or two which intrigue you and your family and friends. A crash course to mechanical puzzles. An introduction to the different types of puzzles to show you the full spectrum that is available out there, from very simple and elegant, to truly puzzling and outright head scratching.
Hopefully this video will also introduce more physical puzzles to adults, parents and children, to stop being addicted to our mobile/digital devices, and spend sometime away from the screens. For children, these are really excellent STEM (or STEAM) toys for them to develop logic, cognitive, deduction and motor skills. The list of benefits go on and on.
