This adds a new career mode, whereby the main campaign is removed (along with the hefty payouts) and you have to survive like a real mercenary captain. It also adds several new Mechs; Hatchetman, Crab and Cyclops. There are now Flashpoints, multi-stage missions with their own stories and challenges.
