Here's my Let's Try of the demo of Blasphemous, a brutal 2D action platformer with non-linear level design, developed by The Game Kitchen and published by Team17 Digital. It will be released on Sep 10, 2019 for the Switch, PS4, PC, and Xbox One.

In this title, you play as a knight named the Penitent One. His mission is to free the land of Cvstodia from a terrible curse called The Miracle. Being trapped in an endless cycle of death and rebirth, it's up to him to break the curse, and locate and end the source of his own torment.

My overall impressions of the demo were very positive. Combat is meaty and rewarding, and the atmosphere and worldbuilding paint an interesting picture of a gothic world.
