This feels like a low-effort fangame made by someone who wasn't experienced with the Mega Engine (and Game Maker). There is barely any new gameplay additions (enemies, gimmicks, etc.), and the new stuff like stage graphics and bosses are rather simplistic and unpolished.
I don't recommend this fangame, but props to the developer for finishing their game. Most fangames end up never getting completed. This game has both a sequel and a sibling series that I will check out in the future. Perhaps they'll be better?
