Let's Try Mega Man Star Force EndWave (Demo, SAGE 2019)
7Here's my Let's Try of the SAGE 2019 demo of Mega Man Star Force EndWave (PC), a MM Star Force fangame, in development by Trevguy.
It's essentially a Star Force game, but melded together with the facets of the Battle Network games' combat system. Particularly its side-view, 6-by-3 grid, and encounters. Sadly, you still only have 1 row to move around.
Nevertheless, the three* encounters do a good job emulating the original combat system. Plus, the dynamic difficulty system being determined by rank is an awesome idea. And I like how you can turn it off for a more consistent level of challenge. I don't recommend playing on (fixed) S+ though, unless you're a glutton for punishment and/or very skilled at the game. Last but not least is the game's writing. It also emulates the original games well, including the joke program.
All in all, this is shaping up to be a competent and interesting project.
