You wake up in your apartment. Everything seems normal but also isn't. You feel like something's off, and you're not sure why. There's someone calling on the intercom, and he says you need to do something because the end of the world is coming. No one else seems concerned. What is going on?
Oh, and at 7:57 PM, you die.
That's a brief primer on Three Minutes To Eight, a very odd point and click adventure game that features great voice acting, wonderful artwork, multiple endings (and ways to die), and a whole lot of mystery. There's not a whole lot of hand-holding in this game (which you can witness from the fact that it took me 3 hours to get a single ending), but this feels like a game that isn't intended to be rushed. You have to learn what items do what, who to talk to, and when to be somewhere specific.
You'll want a notebook for this game.
I am really interested in playing more of this title. The ending I got seems like the furthest from "the truth" and the mystery is scratching at the back of my mind. If you like goundhog day timeloop games, I highly recommend Three Minutes To Eight.
