DEAD BY DAYLIGHT DETAILS:
Dead by Daylight is a online game with 4 vs 1, where one player takes on the role of a savage killer and the four other players are survivors. The Survivors try to escape the killer, avoid being caught, tortured and killed by hiding and using your cunning wits to stay alive. The survivors perspective is third person and the killers perspective is first person.
The survivors have the option to equip up to four perks per match that will greatly affect how the round goes. But each surivor has 3 distinct perks they can teach others via the Bloodweb which cost Bloodpoints obtained by accomplishing different feats in game. Inside each level there are chests that have useful items like first aid kits, flashlights, toolboxes, maps, dull key, and a skeleton key. ONE trap everyone can use are pallets spread throughout each map(pallets stand upright) which block the killer from coming after you momentarily. Killers have to break the pallets while survivors can vault over these pallets. Pallets pushed down at the right time can stun a killer briefly so you can get a head start and hide to evade death. You can also vault through windows and over certain areas around each map to avoid the killer. The best chance a player has is to listen for a heartbeat(michael myers not included)that will signal you a killer is in your vicinity, intense MUSIC plays till you avoid them or get knocked down.
Playing as a killer your either a Trapper, the Wraith, the Hillbilly, the Nurse, the Shape, the Hag, the Doctor, the Huntress, the Cannibal, the Nightmare, the Pig or the Clown(and new ones being added). The killer must hit a survivor twice to knock them down unless they heal. Killers cant run but run at fast pace stalking till they kill a survivor or they get away. Killers place downed survivors on hooks till another survivor takes them down by pulling them off the hook. Getting hit once slows you down by giving you a limp, you start to moan in agony from your wound till healed, groaning cant be stopped unless healed and can be heard by the killer if close enough. Some killers have one hit take downs so be careful with those. You can also auto capture a survivor if there repairing a generator and dont see you creeping up on them. You can leave survivors to bleed out to death. Getting placed on a meat hook once enters phase one, the player can try to escape the hook for a low rate escape. Phase 2 starts off with claws of the Entity engaging. If your saved when fighting off the Entity claws, next phase is an automatic kill. When picked up by a killer they have a chance to wiggle from the killers grasp but they must fill the bar completely. Interacting with most objects causes skill checks. These are timed button presses for L1 when you hear a certain noise. When this noise occurs get ready to press L1.
