Wander and Chelle think back to their childhoods, playing collectathons and drinking juice out of pouches. Those were the good ol days, and Woodle Tree Adventures obviously draws influence from but cannot match those golden games.

Woodle Tree Adventures will remind you slightly of games like Banjo Kazooie and Super Mario 64, but isn't anywhere near as polished, or exciting. The gameplay is essentially going from point A to point B, collecting 3 tears along the way and fruit for score. There are enemies, but they pose little threat. Levels generally take 5 - 10 minutes, depending on how much you're messing around.

It's got co-op, but it feels like an afterthought- as the 2nd player can easily fall off screen (though there's a teleport option), and has less developed animations. Its still a nice touch though.

It's fun enough, though I'd recommend getting it on sale, since it'll be over before you know it. And make sure you have a friend/partner, cause the game would be a bit dull without them.
