NOTE: Read below for the 10.9+ Create Install Media terminal command.
I had a message asking how I made my multi-boot Mac OS install drive, so I thought I'd do a video on it!

Abridged Version:
1. Partition an external hard drive (or big flash drive) with the number of versions you want. I recommend adding an extra 'Apps' partition on the end for common installers. You should allow for 10GB per partition. Table format MUST BE GUID, not MBR.

2. 10.4 - 10.8: Open the disk image in Disk Utility and select the Volume inside. Restore it to one of the partitions you've made. Should take 5-10mins for each image.

3. 10.9+: Open Terminal and enter the following command (no quote marks):
"sudo [Path to Installer App]/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume [Path To Destination Volume] --applicationpath [Path to Installer App] --nointeraction"

Example:
"sudo /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Untitled --applicationpath /Applications/Install\ OS\ X\ Mavericks.app --nointeraction"
