Life Phase Emotions (2) - Abstract Representation of Life Phase Emotions
Hereby the unedited second to Life Phase Emotions where I am talking about the Abstract Representation of Life Phase Emotions.
I will be discussing patterns and symbols used in this research and why. This way more easily understanding the subjects and also showing how there are recurring patterns in life. It will also explain how they can tell us a lot about ourselves and how we can use them in our work.
This was one of the harder subjects since I get how people might see symbols and certain patterns as something religious/occult. So I am simply explaining how nature is full of recurring patterns, how we use symbols to explain/refer to them in an abstract way and it just makes some things easier to understand.
Here the link to an article from the KNMI that tries to argue against Kurt Vonnegut's idea of six seasons. But of which I actually thinks it confirms the idea of six seasons, especially due to the graph they are using.

This series is meant to help (creative) people make the world of emotions way more objective and have tools to more easily make something cute, fun, cool, serious, scary and tragic based on Evolutionary Psychology
This research is based on my 21 years of experience as an Illustrator and into the Games Industry and with a lot of practical examples for people to directly work with.
I will keep this all crude in its unedited form and perhaps will redo it in a more classy way. But for now I want to share what I learned and also build up experience :D !
