Lightmatter is a first-person puzzler game that stands out from many others because it contains a special gimmick where shadows will consume the player. It also contains a story relates to how Virgil, the CEO of Lightmatter Technologies, invented Lightmatter, how Virgil managed to get to get to where he is during the game's events, and some mysterious backstory related to the company that is stated by Ellen, a secret employee.
