0Lightyear Frontier is a surprisingly charming and enjoyable game that blends elements of survival sandbox and life sims in development. In Lightyear Frontier, you play as an exile from a dying Earth that lands upon an alien world. It’s up to you to start building a home on this new frontier. It’s here we enter the familiar survival sandbox loop of breaking rocks, cutting down trees, and seeking out rarer materials so that you can build yourself a base, improve your tools, and give your character an ever more comfortable existence. You’re given a massive farming mech outfitted with various tools and attachments for all your gathering needs. As you progress, you can unlock cosmetic and functional upgrades for your mech, but even at the start, it’s powerful and versatile. This game deserves far more spotlight. I have high hopes that this game will expand to be something even more awesome. Hope you enjoy my video.
