Basically to get the boss to phase out of its defensive stance, you’ll need to break down the big guy, and to do that you’ll need to hit it 3 times. While you can certainly use other unit and try some AOE dmg to drop the stack, lilya’s S1 basically covers 2 attacks and you can save the remaining slots to moxie-up Spathodea instead!

Issue with my run is: when Spathodea couldn’t nuke the boss once it phase out, that’s where i start dying, cause star is weak against the boss so they hit them extra hard…

I died at turn 19 too lol, still plenty of room for more DMG.
