lilycove city: inspired by the pillows (again. sorry) and the great big sea. ultimately, this one represents a nostalgia for a place--specifically an island like newfoundland (where i'm from) and its musical culture (accordions/irish rock). an ode to your hometown with a sense of security to it. knowing you can be ok because of the good things you experienced there.
this was maybe the hardest one to finish and i figured it'd end up being the least popular one on the album, but the chorus sounded too good to not finish the whole thing lol. it's very obviously inspired by "one life", sorry--hopefully the irish rock angle changes the vibes enough. really proud of it still, lilycove is one of my favourite pokemon town themes of all time~
