Linear Switch Showdown: Mode Envoy Edition!
6Today, we're taking a look at some linear switches we've built with over the course of the pat year in our Mode Envoy! Here's the board config:
FR4 Plate, no stand-off's
Case Foam only
Aluminum case
SS multicolor weight and accent
Cherry Clip-in Stabs
DCX Cyanlet Keycaps
Zomo Cthulhu Artisan
Sound tests captured using a Tonor condenser mic outputting to my MSI B550 Gaming Edge WiFi, recorded through OBS with a -5dB off-set. The mic is positioned 7" from the home row in each test. The mic boom arm is mounted at the outer edge of the desk, with cardboard and acoustic foam isolating either side of the clamp from the desk to help isolate desk vibration from typing tests.
