Linux 5.4 - Star Citizen - vkBasalt - Microtech - Rest and Relax
I dont know if I am only dreaming it or if fps got better. I put a dxvk.conf file next to the StarCitizen.exe having dxgi.maxFrameLatency = 10 in it. Dont know if that still works, but it says to disregard any frames that dont render in 10 ms. 16 ms would be for 60 fps, 10 ms for more. The fps are limited by the network but I am hoping by setting this parameter, to eliminate compute or gfx pipeline calls gone wrong or taking way too long. It feels more smooth, definitly.
vkBsalt is enabled, standard settings. Space looks way more full of stars that way.
