Linux is trash: Don't be a deprived L user - A Ultimate guide on setting up a Windows 10 Computer
This is an educational video on getting a good working computer for cheap and with ease, specifically designed for Linux users but also useful as a general informative video for everyone else. I have tried my best to condense a lot of valid information into one video, but in reality, I can only cover so much. The total cost for my used X260 is about 50+8+4 dollars. I have installed an 8-dollar Goldenfir Chinese 120GB SSD from AliExpress on it, and it is running perfectly. I have also purchased a 4-dollar 128GB SD card for it. The battery is not great, but I am too cheap to get it replaced yet. The external battery would cost about $20. I can't justify getting a $20 battery for a $50 laptop, but this fully restored laptop deserves the $20 battery for sure.
The script was written by an award-winning author. If you check out my other work, you’ll see that it’s very typical of my style. This is a 2300-word script, all typed up with my sensitive fingers and fragile mind; no AI was used in the script. The voice is an AI-generated one with a mildly salty, semi-sexy British accent, which is very accurate to my script’s inner voice, and she is accurate 99% of the time, mispronouncing only few times.
PS. Everything is created on my Windows 7 computer. Yes, I am still a Windows 7 user, even though I own 3 Windows 10 computers now.
PSS. The beginning of the video, my X260 has been fully updated, and has been installed with a video card driver and an OBS screen recording software. Everything else is untouched, so in this video, you can see exactly how I configure a Windows 10 machine for productivity, but of course this is only the first stage. It took me about 4-6 hours to fully install everything.
PSSS. Windows 10 is not perfect. It requires a lot of customization to make it great, but it's still easier to debloat Windows 10 and make it a power horse than trying to fix the little creepy penguin.
