Steet Fighter III : New Generation
The Street Fighter III series is a direct sequel to Street Fighter 2; but in this first game, every characters (except Ken and Ryu) are new.
The game first appeared on CPS3 in 1997; with this new powerfulest arcade cabinet comes down updated brand new 2D graphics and smoother animations.
On a gameplay note :
- "Parry" is introduced. The parry is a defensive move performed by pressing forward (or down, for low attack) just as an opponent's attack connects. This needs a rather precise timing but it will totally negate damages.
- "Leap attack"; a small jumping attack mainly used against crouching enemies.
- Characters can now "Dash"
- You need to choose only one super art out of three before the match begins.
