I intend to make this a long-form let’s play Essence series. I have followed this game’s development for a while and am glad to finally get a chance to experience the world of Essence and discovery its secrets. There’s something compelling about Essence, and this Essence blind playthrough will focus on exploring the environment, learning the background story, and enjoying Essence’s atmosphere and visuals. Now, this is Essence early access, so expect some potential bugs, some glitches, and some graphic stutters. Still, the Essence gameplay looks compelling and I’m hoping to play more of it. So join me for a let’s play Essence blind series!
In Essence, we awaken in a stone circle among a windswept landscape of pearlescent sand and broken boats. As we follow a floating polyhedron, we learn more about the world, its fate, and our role. Overall, the Essence gameplay has a lot to love, including exploration, story, atmosphere, and (later) puzzles. The Essence game trusts players to explore the world at their own pace, speculate about what happened, and figure out the world’s mechanics. Overall, Essence gameplay is quite interesting, so come and join me for an interesting adventure and let’s play Essence.
In Episode 1 of the Essence blind playthrough, we wake up in Litora and begin exploring the world in the Essence prologue. I’m very curious to see where things go from here, particularly because this game is so sparing with its story. Get ready for some interesting times as we play Essence early access!
Despite being short, I enjoyed my first time with the Essence game and Essence gameplay and am happy to be doing a full let's play Essence series. So join me for a Essence full playthrough series that promises interesting sights, a mysterious story, and maybe even some puzzles. This game is as much about exploring the different worlds of ESSENCE and collecting lost fragments of the world as discovering secret places filled with mysterious messages. Also, it is about solving puzzles and learning new abilities that help you proceed further on otherwise hidden paths. The further you will go the more possibilities you will have to interact with the world and its surroundings. Every area has its very own theme and therefore is different in color and overall feeling.
